Over the past two decades, Felicia Zimmerman has helped many professionals and aspiring professionals communicate effectively. Whether advising corporate executives on how to execute their strategies or coaching students on how to interview for jobs or speak up in class, Felicia is the “go-to” person for advice on using English to achieve your goals.
With a B.A. from Smith College and an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies and several years of work experience at Citigroup and Pepsico, in 1987, Felicia launched her own business—helping corporate executives communicate effectively in a host of scenarios, including boardroom presentations, Congressional testimony, and deal pursuit.
But, within a few years, Felicia’s clients were also seeking her down-to-earth advice and hands-on assistance in executing their business strategies. In response, she broadened her business into helping teams and business units implement their plans. Even so, because communication is a critical component of any business success, Felicia blended her communication guidance with her consulting practice.
The author of a book, Reinvent Your Work, Felicia has appeared on CNN and National Public Radio. She has written articles for the Wall Street Journal Career Journal and contributed to Harvard Business School Working Knowledge and other publications.
And she is also studying Mandarin Chinese with Jianhua Shen of Yale.
Felicia will share a few practical tips on how to use English to advance your career. She’ll also take your questions on how to apply her advice to the situations you’re facing or expect to face. |
