Forge a Shared Future

In 2024, China and the United States will celebrate the 45th anniversary of the formalization of their diplomatic relations. This milestone invites reflection on a 45-year journey marked by a dynamic interplay of cooperation and competition. Despite facing challenges, the two countries have successfully collaborated in economic, technological, and cultural domains. Their joint efforts have addressed key global challenges, contributing to global stability while navigating their differences.

 

The 2024 Yale US-China Distinguished Colloquium will take place at both Yale Science Building and Yale Beijing Center. A broad range of topics will be explored, including: International Affairs, Business and Finance, Healthcare and Biotech, Innovation and Venture Capital, Education, AI Ethics and Rules, Film and Arts, Global Investment (Beijing), Technological Innovation (Beijing), and Sustainable Development (Beijing). This colloquium is dedicated to a deep examination of the trajectory of US-China relations, aiming to clarify the prospects, challenges, and opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
